One of the latest and most advanced of the "Pterodactyloids". Pteranodon was an ocean-going fish-eater. It had a long toothless beak which was counterbalanced at the neck joint by a long bony tail crest. The neck itself was long, while th tail was reduced to a short stump. There was a pouch of skin between the lower jaws, which served to store fish, just as pelicans do today.
Warning: Choking HAZARD: small parts- not for children under 3 years.
